Sex-Role Related Effects of Sex Bias in Language.
Briere, John; Lanktree, Cheryl
Sex Roles: A Journal of Research, v9 n5 p625-32 May 1983

Sexist language appeared to influence the students' rating of the attractiveness of careers in psychology for males and females and their willingness to refer male or female friends to psychologists.
