Hollinger, Constance L.
Journal of Vocational Behavior, v22 n1 p49-62 Feb 1983
Studied the role of self-perceptions of career-relevant abilities in understanding the career aspirations of mathematically talented adolescent females (N=121). Students were assigned to one of six career-aspiration groups. Analysis indicated that nontraditional math career aspirants could be discriminated on the basis of seven self-estimates of ability.
