Teaching Pediatric Infectious Diseases to Medical, Pharmacy, and Nursing Students During Monthly Rotations.
Nahata, Milap C.; And Others
Journal of Medical Education, v57 n8 p639-40 Aug 1982
Medical, pharmacy, and nursing students participated in a course on pathophysiology and pharmacotherapeutics of common pediatric bacterial and viral diseases during their rotation in infectious diseases. Student attitudes were highly positive, and substantial knowledge gain resulted. This interdisciplinary clinical approach is recommended to overcome weaknesses of each discipline's curriculum. (MSE)
