The Use of Motivational Experiments in the Teaching of Quantitative Concepts in Chemistry.

Describes a teaching scheme for introducing quantitative aspects of chemistry to tenth-grade students. A comparison of students using this method with students in a conventional course showed no significant differences in achievement but greater interest and understanding of concepts for the experimental group.
