Teaching Methods for Professors of First Year Law Students: Helping to Develop Study Skills and a Discussion of the Value of the Not for Credit Midterm.
Scholl, Judith T.
Journal of Legal Education, v30 n4-5 p492-504 1980
Because the first year of law school is difficult, it is suggested that law professors give entering students special attention. Methods include teaching good study habits, giving a practice not-for-credit midterm, and modeling appropriate attitudes and deportment. Student reactions to the practice midterm in Torts are discussed. The questionnaire is included. (JMD)
