The Effects of Three Instructional Approaches on Children's Attitudes and Stereotypes toward Africa.
Piersma, Mary L.; And Others
Education, v100 n2 p185-92 Win 1979
Study investigated children's attitudes toward Africa, south of the Sahara. Children were first tested as to stereotypes and attitudes, then received specified information through one of three approaches--literature, audiovisual, or multi-media. A significant correlation was noted between increased information levels and stereotypes for all three approaches. (DS)
