Student Attitude toward an Instructor-Directed vs. Student-Directed Method for Teaching Behavioral Pharmacy.
Kotzan, Jeffrey A.; Wiederholt, Joseph B.
American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, v43 n3 p206-09 Aug 1979
A large improvement in student attitudes toward a behavioral pharmacy course addressing communication skills was noted when an instructor-directed course employing videotaped, but unrehearsed, student simulations was changed to allow student-directed videotaped simulations. Although more student input was required, anxiety levels were reduced. (JMD)
