Hayden, Robert C.; DuBois, Eugene H.
Western Journal of Black Studies, v1 n4 p293-96 Dec 1977
Locke was one of the first Black educators to recognize the intrinsic value of adult education. He believed that it constituted an essential tool for the social and cultural advancement of all adults worldwide.
