Eighty-four adolescents and their parents were surveyed on the extent to which adolescents attempt to influence their parents' everyday behaviors. Attempted influence correlated positively with adolescent autonomy need and negatively with father's dominance need. Variables of sex, family structure and authority style, and influenced behaviors are discussed. (SJL)
