Findings from a study conducted by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University on the status of parent education indicate where parents and expectant parents acquired child-rearing information and how knowledgeable they are about child development. Suggestions for parent educators and implications for Extension staff contributions are briefly discussed. (MF)
