In rating teachers' classroom characteristics, high and low achievers in a PSI course in psychology differed significantly in their ratings of businesslike behavior, excitement, course difficulty, and teacher enthusiasm. Previous academic performance, however, was a more important predictor of academic achievement. (Author/STS)
