New Direction in Social Work Education: The Task Force Reports
Constable, Robert T.
Journal of Education for Social Work, 14, 1, 23-30, W 78
The need to differentiate degree levels in social work education reopens the question of generic and specific education, which is here related to discussions in the 1950s, prior to the widespread adoption of the generic curriculum. The importance of the generic curriculum to professional identity is examined along with implications of structural options. (Author/LBH)
