EMG Biofeedback Training Versus Systematic Desensitization for Test Anxiety Reduction
Romano, John L.; Cabianca, William A.
Journal of Counseling Psychology, 25, 1, 8-12, Jan 78
Biofeedback training to reduce test anxiety among university students was investigated. Biofeedback training with systematic desensitization was compared to an automated systematic desensitization program not using EMG feedback. Biofeedback training is a useful technique for reducing test anxiety, but not necessarily more effective than systematic desensitization. (Author/MFD)
