The Problem of the Semi-Speaker in Language Death
Dorian, Nancy
Linguistics, 191, 23-32, May 24 77

Recognition of distortion through unavoidable reliance on semi-speaker informants seems possible on the basis of internal or external evidence. More study is needed on the semi-speaker phenomenon.
