Discontinuous Educational Experiences and Political and Religious Nonconformity in Authoritarian Regimes: Mexico
Davis, Charles L.; Coleman, Kenneth M.
Social Science Quarterly, 58, 3, 489-97, Dec 77
Examines the impact of attendance at both public and private/parochial schools on the political and religious attitudes of adult residents of Mexico City. It is found that those experiencing discontinuous educational histories exhibit attitudinal differences from those having experienced continuous educational histories of either a public-only or private-only variety.
