Academic Success of American Indian Students at a Large Private University

This study analyzes the differences in academic achievement of American Indian students who had been in the Indian Placement Program compared with those who had not, as measured by grade point averages at Brigham Young University. Reservation students not on the program had lowest GPAs; the number of years in the program had a positive relationship with academic success. (LBH)
