Personal characteristics of 310 Virginia secondary vocational teachers were examined to determine their proneness toward the adoption of educational innovations. The study and its results are discussed under the variables of age, professional publications read, number of years teaching in the present school district, response toward finding teaching personally satisfying, and ideal influence exerted by academic teachers.
