Black Undergraduates Succeed in White Colleges

The attitudes and experiences of black students who attend predominantly white colleges are explored. Two surveys, part of a longitudinal study by A Better Chance, Inc., indicate that most black students make a successful academic adjustment at white colleges, and that they do benefit from the opportunity to attend independent secondary schools.
