Efforts on the part of administrators and boards of education to develop a rational evaluation procedure, coupled with intelligently conceived criteria to measure performance of administrators, would tend to remove much of the potential trauma that now exists in administrator evaluation. Discusses who should be responsible for the development of criteria for evaluating administrator performance and guidelines for developing procedures and criteria. (Author/RK)
