The Role of Expressive Writing in Ego Identity Formation
Waterman, Alan S.; And Others
Developmental Psychology, 13, 3, 286-287, May 77

Results showed that poetry writers were more likely than students not writing poetry to be in the identity achievement status, and less likely to be in the foreclosure status or the identity diffusion status.
