Factors in Career Orientation of College Females
Ries, Carol P.
Illinois Teacher of Home Economics, 20, 4, 178-183, Mar-Apr 77
A study of University of Illinois female students showed that career orientation in college women is increasing (as present students were compared to those in 1962 and 1970). Factors shown to be positively correlated with career orientation were grades in school, mother's employment, mother's educational level, and college major. Factors having little correlation were age, year in college, marital status, cooperative house membership, jobs held, and type of job of parents. (JT)
