Determines effects of sequencing in junior high science on the success of students in high school biology. In comparing standardized test scores of 1,143 students taking tenth grade biology, the half enrolled in a generalized general science curriculum in grades 7, 8 and 9 scored as well as or better than the half that had a specialized life science course in grade 7.
