A one-day workshop for medical faculty (but also adapted for nursing and allied health instructors) has been designed that incorporates both attitudinal and cognitive objectives, including learning the characteristics of effective clinical teaching, evaluating an observed clinical teaching situation, and applying the characteristics of effective teaching in a simulated situation.
