This article provides a review of evaluation of audio-autotutorial (A-T) instruction. Results indicate A-T instruction is equal to or superior to lecture instruction, students strongly favor A-T instruction, the self-paced independent aspect of A-T instruction is highly valued by students, and A-T instruction can be economical.
