Differentiated Outcomes Resulting from Individualized Instruction at a Two-Year College
Elliot, James M.; Tuckman, Bruce W.
Community/Junior College Research Quarterly, 1, 1, 1-12, Oct-Dec 76
Two instructional treatments, individualized and traditional, were used with 44 students in each group. Students were classified as concrete or abstract, using the Interpersonal Topic Inventory. No significant differences were found in terms of student preference or performance as a function of student type or mode of instruction, although students in the individualized setting manifested greater problem-solving ability.
