Gilbert, Charles D.; Cooper, Dwight
School Science and Mathematics, 76, 6, 469-476, Oct 76
Students and teachers in 14 self-contained sixth grade classrooms participated in this study. Results showed significant relationships between rural students' performance on mathematical concepts and problem solving tests and their attitude toward mathematics. Negative correlations between teacher's attitudes toward teaching mathematics and students' attitudes toward mathematics were found. (DT)
