Institutional Selectivity as a Predictor of Applicant Selection and Success in Medical School

The results of this study indicate that for accepted students, grade point average (GPA) adjusted by institutional selectivity was considerably more useful than raw GPA, and perhaps as useful for predicting success as Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) science subscores. (LBH)
