The Gough Adjective Checklist was administered to 43 winners of the Outstanding Biology Teacher Award. This instrument requires users to select adjectives describing themselves from a list of 300 words comprising 12 scales. Data were analyzed to suggest characteristics of the self-concepts of teachers in the group. (SD)
