Stories and other forms of visual art help enable students to have more vivid indirect experiences and to see beyond the boundaries of their own lives. Potential benefits of LGBTQ-themed webtoons are explored through interactive and collaborative reader comment boards that act as constructive spaces for dialogue and outlets for marginalized stories. Findings show that the boards afford collective imagination; enabling readers to realize, identify, and reflect on problems.
