A Variable Focal Length Lens Made from a Food Preservation Lid
Uchida, Satoko
Physics Teacher, v57 n3 p173-175 Mar 2019
Practical hands-on experience is an effective component of science education. Lessons that involve demonstrations allow learners to explore and verify information learned from other sources (for example, reading a textbook). As a demonstration for use in a science educational setting, we developed a way to make a variable focal length lens using a lid for food preservation, and constructed a model of the human eye using this variable focal length lens.
