In an attempt to ascertain the impact of social class on the attitudes of students toward various minority groups, it was found that other factors beyond "racial" attributes account for the basis of prejudice and the impact of each of these factors varies among minority groups. These findings suggest that some social variables attached to various minority groups are important mediating factors when attempting to gauge individuals' attitudes toward an attitude object. (EH)
