Presents information concerning the history and present status of representation of minorities (Chicanos, Puerto Ricans, Blacks, and Native Americans) in the biological sciences at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Data presented relate primarily to Black Americans but author contends that similar, if not worse, conditions exist for the other groups. (PB)
