Thirty graduate students were used to test the hypothesis that group members functioning at the highest levels in interpersonal relationship skills would fill leadership roles. This hypothesis was confirmed. It was also demonstrated that Carkhuff's Systematic Human Relations Training can be an effective vehicle for such leadership training. (Author/BW)
