The study indicates that a degree of career awareness does exist among elementary school children, differing with such variables as age, sex, and socio-economic level. The instrument developed for this study has utility for assessment of needs, of educational programming/curriculum building, and of the effectiveness of staff development activities. (Author/AJ)
