Real-Time Computing in Psychology at the University of Colorado
Bailey, Daniel E.; Polson, Peter G.
American Psychologist, 30, 3, 212-218, Mar 75
An account of the development of the Computer Laboratory for Instruction in Psychological Research (CLIPR) which was established in the Department of Psychology at the University of Colorado in 1970. It was designed to bridge the gap between the model of the institutional computer-center service with a widely distributed clientele and the model of the private, single-user, mini-computer equipped psychology laboratory. A description is provided of its role in undergraduate instruction, graduate training, and time shared research. (EH)
