In today's media-rich educational environment, many teachers are unsure how to uphold applicable copyright laws and avoid potential penalties. The boundaries between acceptable and unacceptable use of copyrighted materials are murky at best. This article offers a clear explanation of common copyright terms and some suggestions for practicing educators.
