Designing and Teaching the Course "Mathematical View" for Turkish Literature Majors at Duzce University

This article deals with giving a perspective of mathematics to students whose majors are not related to mathematics. A course named "Mathematical View" was specifically designed and implemented for this purpose. The course was given to students majoring in the Turkish Language and Literature Department at Duzce University who opted to take an elective mathematics course. The one semester course aimed to enhance students' critical thinking skills, their perception of the importance and value of mathematics, as well as their communication skills in mathematics. Though students' perception of the course was positive, through their input cited here, in the future, such courses can be geared even more suited for their needs.
