Educational Epistemology, Culture and History: Response to Joan Walton
Inoue, Noriyuki
International Journal for Transformative Research, v3 n1 p29-32 Jul 2016
In this response paper to Joan Walton's commentary on his article "The Role of Subjectivity in Teacher Expertise Development: Mindfully Embracing the 'Black Sheep' of Educational Research", Inoue acknowledges reading Dr. Walton's response to his paper with great interest and her discussion is a good follow up to the issues that he raised in his paper. Inoue truly appreciated her writing up the response that he believes will allow a thinking deeper about the issues raised by his paper. His hope is that this kind of cross-cultural exchange, leads us to move out of our comfort zone and show us a new direction of teacher education as well as educational research. Inoue invites other readers to join such endeavors. [See original Inoue article at EJ1120936; See Walton article at EJ1120937.]
