Bradford, Robert; Holliday, Megan; Schultz, Amy; Moser, Christy
Journal of Occupational Therapy, Schools & Early Intervention, v8 n3 p196-210 2015
The prevalence of childhood eating disorders is increasing in pediatric practice across the country. It is therefore important for occupational therapists to be familiar with current research, resources, and intervention strategies related to a variety of eating diagnoses. In this column we highlight basic definitions of a variety of eating disorders, review current research related to eating disorders, and offer a continuum of resources for therapists, parents, children, and adolescents.
