Vicarious Induction of Academic Achievement Behavior in Disadvantaged Adults
Kunce, Joseph T.; And Others
Journal of Counseling Psychology, 21, 6, 507-510, Nov 74
A counseling procedure termed vicarious induction of behavior was used to develop academic achievement motivation in disadvantaged adults. The procedure required an analysis of the desired target behavior---academic achievement motivation---to identify specific skills and covert attitudes. New achievement behaviors were anticipated, specified, and evaluated. (Author)
