The impact of busing in eight Florida school districts upon parental decision to abandon the public schools is studied. The results indicated rejecters of public schools were more likely to have been scheduled for busing, more likely to be bused more than ten miles, and more likely to be assigned to a majority black school. Policy suggestions to reduce white flight are offered. (DE)
