Williams, Vicki; Su, Nai-Fen
International Journal on E-Learning, v14 n3 p373-383 Jul 2015

To date, serious research on the impact of MOOCs on learning is fairly scarce. The authors examine the present state of MOOC research and speculate on why it is so.
