Black Studies is For White Students
Amann, Clarence A.
Midwest Education Review, 6, 2, 1-12, W 74
While Black Studies programs have gotten off to a poor start due to an often hurried, emotional approach with too little thought about aims, they have suffered from the mistaken notion that such programs should be primarily directed toward black students. Through Black Studies programs, white students can learn to confront their own racism and hopefully begin to deal with it. (EH)
