Curriculum Retention and Programming for Inclusive Teaching
Walker, Anthony
New Directions for Teaching and Learning, n140 p77-84 Win 2014
Access to higher education continues to expand in the United States. And, as opportunity has continued to increase, so too has the amount of diversity present throughout higher education. These trends, combined with the fundamental principles connected to the purpose of higher education, work to create culturally relevant and responsive practice. Focused on educational practice designed to meet the needs of a continuously diversifying student population, this chapter examines student programming and curricula as a means to promote student success and learning.
