The aim of this study is to determine the effects of the drama method on speaking anxieties of pre-service teachers and their opinions about the method. In the study, mixed method including experimental design, quantitative, and basic qualitative research was used. The study was carried out with 77 first grade students from day-time and evening education programs at Kazim Karabekir Faculty of Education, Atatürk University. Speaking Anxiety Scale (SAS), developed by Sevim, was used to collect the data of the study. Paired and Independent Samples t-tests were used for the analysis of the research data.
