Twenty-five classes in sixteen English primary schools were surveyed concerning mathematics instruction. Data were gathered on school organization, classroom organization, testing procedures, and amount of and kind of teaching aids used. Teachers' evaluation of the positive and negative aspects of the curriculum are listed. (JP)
