Late-Study Areas: A Means of Extending Library Hours

Thirty libraries, of 169 surveyed, used late-night study areas to extend library hours. Most study areas were open one to three hours after the library closed, and nine stayed open all night . Room counts at one university library showed that use was light after 2:00 a.m. (LS)
