Higher Education Is not Going Down the Drain
Chambers, M. M.
Planning and Changing, 5, 1, 36-41, Spr 74
Nationwide college enrollments are increasing, and State tax support of annual operations of higher education is also increasing, faster than inflation. There are a few distressed institutions and a few disadvantaged States where enrollments are leveling and where financial support is rising; but these do not change the national picture. Nationally, high school enrollments will continue to expand until the late 1970s. (Author/DN)
