Effective Strategies and Activities for Developing Soft Skills, Part 1
Blaszczynski, Carol; Green, Diana J.
Journal of Applied Research for Business Instruction, v10 n1 2012
Employers seek employees who possess soft skills. Employees who do not have excellent soft skills may not experience success in obtaining and sustaining employment. McEwen's (2010) framework for skill-building--introduce, explain, practice, and reinforce--was used to describe activities for enhancing soft skills. Assessment of soft skills development is discussed. Implications for the business education curriculum are also presented. (Contains 1 table and 1 figure.)
