Comparison of Three Methods of Reducing Test Anxiety: Systematic Desensitization, Implosive Therapy, and Study Counseling
Cornish, Richard D.; Dilley, Josiah S.
Journal of Counseling Psychology, 20, 6, 499-503, Nov 73
Systematic desensitization, implosive therapy, and study counseling have all been effective in reducing test anxiety. In addition, systematic desensitization has been compared to study counseling for effectiveness. This study compares all three methods and suggests that systematic desentization is more effective than the others, and that implosive therapy is more effective than study counseling. (Author)
